Ive been looking at the Banks ram air intake box lately (to copy not to buy), and it seems to me that i could fab one out of my stock air box to suck form the bottom instead of the side. i have a k&n drop in filter, and want more air but seeing as it is only a couple of months old cannot justify scrapping it for a bhaf.... any mods other than swiss cheesing it that would help?

Also anone made a intake manifold? i keep seeing "homemade" ones sheetmetal ect on lots of big power trucks... i work at a shop where anything can be fabbed up cast, cnc, milled anything... specs, cad plans, or an idea would help. thanks.

 

for the intake manifold, just start making one. I f you have the time try things out. I'm working on one for the pulling truck right now, why? I ask why not.
