Question Air Intakes? Brute Force, Afe,Airaide?

I have stock 01 ram with cummins. Gettin started with set of gauges. Now setting up to purchase the air intake. I have seen many kinds but cant help to notice the price of the aem brute force. Has anyone used these in comparison of the others (scotty, afe, kn, airaid) what one is the best. (performance, service etc.....) I only want to do this once. With the help of the knowlege of people on this sight i may be able to only do this once. HELP!!!

I can't recall seeing anyone take off a Scotty air system to replace it with another brand. (unless they were adding twin turbos and the size was the problem).
But there are several who went from other brands and installed a Scotty.
It's even better now that the Scotty uses the new UNI filter element.

Even though I don't have a Scotty yet, I will at some point in the near future. My vote goes with Scotty as well.

You will NOT waste your $$ on a Scotty....its is considered by many to be the BEST intake on the market especially when the power is turned up (over 400 hp)....Thats what it is designed for. It is the only true COLD air intake on the market (at least of the ones Ive heard of).....and offers EGT temp lowering of about 150-200 degrees.

On a stock truck it will perform pretty much like the rest.
