Air intake upgrade ??

Quick question, Is it worth $208.00 for the AEM Brute Force Air Intake System? I'm thinking about clicking the mouse botton sitting here at work. I've got a lot of good advice here,
If I do put it on, what can I expect for performance improvments?

Thanks.

Unless your stock air filter is badly clogged, don't expect any performance improvement. The factory air filter system, with an ordinary paper filter, is more than adequate for stock engines, and even for mild upgrades.

Alot of people here like the scotty 2. It is about the same money, can be bought here on this site and cools as good, if not better than any other filter.

I am cheap, and like paper, so I run the bhaf. It costs about $50.

I've never run one of the higher priced aftermarket kit's, but I vote for a BHAF over the stock box. If you do a search for BHAF, you'll find all kinds of reading. Save your $$$ for other bombs until you're in a higher hp (350-400+) range before dropping the bucks on a Scotty....just my 2 cents
There's some pics of my BHAF in my gallery. Others have good pics of theirs too.
P/N's for a BHAF can be found here along with a heatshield template:
