I bought it.....an Air Raid intake system...anybody have any pros or cons to share? $225. a good price?? this is my 1st performance upgrade, besides Amsoil... next step will be gauges,then injector mods, I'm more interested in long life and fuel economy, but I also don't want to get passed too much by these knucklehead Ford 'stroker guys around here... and have a Merry CHRISTmas ! sorry for the incorrect placement of this thread, Mr.Mod...I just caught my mistake...my truck is an '06 /3rd gen... I THOUGHT I had it in the correct catagory,when I typed it...my bad...

 

not to bad of a price, ive heard some good things about airraid. im not too much of a fan buying one for $200+, but if you dont have the time or skills to DIY, thats the way to go. i just did my intake a couple of weeks ago, and all i bought was 2-4" boots, a polished piece of 4" 90* pipe, and a BHAF with outerwears. all together i think it set me back about $110 shipped to the door, with the BHAF being almost $70 with the outerwears, and without shipping. this setup i think looks better, and sounds way better then lot of the other intakes ive seen. the airraid is nice though, because of the heat shield, the intake air isnt so warm. thats the only thing that the big companies have, that i didnt make, but i think it flows alot more air without the shield.
