Don't think it will fit over your 5" intake pipe?? Might be better getting a 6" filter flange and downsizing it with some kind of 'sleeve' inside.

I got mine from sourceautomotive.biz and it has a 5 in inlet.

Sorry it took so long. Checked and the Amsoil Nanofiber Filters have wire mesh inside & out!

I looked at the Nano jobs from Amsoil and they look like any filter out there.
The mesh you might be referring to is part of the media.
Some K&N's have an extra internal metal wire mesh that is NOT part of the filter media.

I hope no one confuses the two.
