Just wondering if anyone has seen this system before?

Used on fire engines
I work for BLM and we use these type of systems on our Light Engines (F-550), they give more filter area than stock. They work better to keep the ash, embers, and moon dust out of the motor. We have had some engine suck the stock air filter in to the turbo (Very Dirty airfilter, plugged so it would buckle the filter and suck all the dirt into the motor), or caught a engine on fire from sucking embers in to the stock filter housing. with this design we have had no more trouble with that any more. They are well built, and fairly easy to change/clean the filter. hope that this helps. Brent
Thats an odd design...
Where is the inlet piping supposed to go? I can't see any room between the rad and the frame to put it into. I would have a bigger inlet pipe to the filter if it was me.
