Aftermarket speaker help?
Aftermarket speaker help?
Ok I've got some Sony replacement speakers for my club cab area, pulled the panels and was going to replace the other but they have OEM plug on that doesn't work with my Sony's.
Two wires both brown one with a yellow tracer the other with a blue tracer. I realize that I will have to cut this connector off and splice on some female connectors but which is pos and which is neg?

The phase is more important than which is which. Namely that they both have the same polarity so that they don't cancel each other out. The old way is to hook them temporary try them, switch one and try it. The right wiring is the most base. Do that on mono.
Got the info I needed thanks to someone on Comp Diesel
