Re:Aftermarket Flexplate

I'm interested, talked to B&M last year they said they would look into demand but nothing ever came of it. Used there plates for years on my hotrods never worried about losing my legs 8)

Re:Aftermarket Flexplate

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the flex plate is connected to the crankshaft and has the teeth on it for the starter. It is also what the clutch grips. I think.

Re:Aftermarket Flexplate

It's what connects the crank to the torque converter. Used only in autos........

Re:Aftermarket Flexplate

In an auto the crank is connected to the flexplate on one side and the Torque converter on the other. On a manual there is no flexplate.... The flywheel takes the place of a flexplate + there is no torque converter.

Doug
