Ok, I pulled a brilliant one today. I cleaned my AFE filter and re-oiled it. I put way to much oil on it. I know because I noticed a little pool of oil under the truck. I removed the filter and checked the inside but did not observe any oil residue. I also checked the inside of the ailr filter tube and did not notice and oil residue. I have the filter sitting out in the sun trying to dry it up a little. I don't want any oil going into the turbo. Will i be ok or should I re-clean and lightly oil?

I think you should be ok, although I'm not an expert.

 

id recomend reclean and lightly oil.... i did the same thing the 1st time i oiled a k&n on a harley... ran rough, recleaned used less oil.........ran great. 2 totally different applications but air is air right ?? scott
