Anyone running an aero-turbine muffler on a 4" system and doing some towing?
I do moderate to heavy towing and hate drone, so I'm running a 4" system with a muffler to kill it, BUT it kills my exhaust note that I dearly love, and wondering if an aero-tubine will revive that note, and put a damper on the drone!

I run a 4" system and with the normal muffler I too had a drone. It was only between 2000 and 2100, but was very anoying. I installed the Areo-turbine just in front of the system muffler and it did remove the drone, but it also took some of the tubo wine out. I have not towed since the change, but I think the results will still be positive. I no the sound of a Cummins is nice, but to be honest it gets a little old after the first 100 miles with a large trailer.

 

I'm running an aero turbine and love the sound. dropped just a little bit egt. Its straight pipe loud, but without the drone.

I would guess not. I don't think a lot of people use that muffler, but some people on here do.
