ADT 4" 14ga. exhaust
I purchased the mufflerless 14 gauge 4" dia. system from ADT. It comes with a pre-welded rolled and polished SS tip. Here is the page:

Smokin Diesel

I installed the system by myself without a torch. I had to beat on the front hanger because they mouted it 3/4" too far forward. Including removal of the old system, the whole job took about 3 hours. Just used a die grinder with a cutting wheel, my impact and hand tools. I put band clamps at the lower downpipe joint and at the joint before the axle bend, so I can remove it if needed.

Had a slight drone around 2200 RPM. But I am used to it now. I will probably put some dynamat on the back cab wall and floorboard.

Sounds sweet!

me4osu, I am guessing getting the old one off was the hardest part of the job. Did the replacement fit well. How does it sound and how much did it cost?
inquiring mind wk
Re:ADT 4" 14ga. exhaust
The only hard part about the install was getting it to flange up to the turbo. I wish I had a torch with which to bend the mounting dowel instead of a 3lb go-easy.

It only took me an hour to get the old system out. Most of the time was trimming the last piece, making sure everything fitted up properly and cleaning up.

It sounds great. Also, I like that it is 14 gauge (more durable).
