Adrenaline Questions

I just installed my Adrenaline over the weekend.
I tested it out and everything seemed fine.
When I got to work today I turned the key off but the engine kept running.
After several attempts trying to shut it down I ended up having to kill it by stalling it out.(good thing my truck is a manual)

Anyone else have this problem?
I am going to try an updated download tonight.
Will this help?

Couple other questions:
Is it normal for the oil temp to jump around?
Mine goes from back and forth from 190 to 270.
I know 270 isn't right. Is this normal for the adrenaline?

Is a boost elbow suggested with this box?
My max boost seems to be around 29.
I have an '02. stock injectors.

Thanks in advance.

Your truck has a tune with turbo timer enabled. To shut the truck down, just tap the skinny pedal. You could download a tune without that function.

Is there teflon tape on the oil sender? If you put tape on it, it's probably not grounding properly and giving you funky readings.

The box has the original software. I didn't think they shipped with the TT.
I'll pay closer attention to the EGT next time and give the skinny pedal a try.

Seems odd that after running the truck hard after installing the box it shut down normally.

Thanks.

The only thing I had with me when I installed the oil temp sensor was anti-sieze, so I used a little dab of it. I was careful to not get it anywhere but on the threads. I wonder if anti-sieze would have the same effect as teflon tape?

Is your oil temp reading stable?

Mine is in my transmission, but its very steady. No anti-seize or teflon tape, goop, etc.. here. I'd clean the threads and try it again.

thanks, I'll give it a try.
The only other thing I can think of that may be causing the problem is where I routed the wire.

I ran the wire along the wire loom leading to the alternator and then through the alt. bracket, down to the filter. This seemed like the cleanest approach, but I guess it's possible it is picking up some interference from the alt.

I'll try cleaning it off first and go from there.

Thanks again.

Make sure the short red wire is connected directly to the battery and the long red wire is on fuse #9 in the cab.
