Adrenaline prob

Today i went out and started up my truck and the pulse screen flickered right away the light was really dim and nothing came on the screen. I let it run for a minute then shut the truck off and it stayed running so i pulled the wire that taps the engine fuse and it shut off. i plugged it back in and turned the key on without starting it and the screen did the same thing. I turned the key off and took it out but all the dash lights were still on and chiming. I pulled the module out and reprogrammed it and reprogrammed the pulse thinkin it was a software malfunction or somethin. Same result. Started the truck and drove it around, and if im idling the screen is dim and flickers, but when i give it some throttle the screen lights up and the quad logo comes on but thats it, no guages. I unhooked the pulse and hooked up the small recon style monitor with the same result.
Engine light was on when all this started as well so i pulled the codes and there were like 7 codes. Im thinkin something in the module burnt up or something. any of you guys had anything like this happen? Quad?

What were the codes? Sounds like a electrical problem with the truck. Doesn't sound like its caused by the box.

How long had it been since you drove you truck? I ask because with gass prices being down I've been driving my Yota. My dodge has not benn cranked for about a month until two days ago. When I went to crank the ol'beast the batteries were almost dead and or so I thought. Turn on the key and you could heare the relay under the hood clicking on and off and my recon was flickering really dim. I took off the Adr and the truck cranked fine so I let it idle a few min and then shut down the truck and put the ADR back on and drove to town. My check engine was on and I figured it was where I cranked it and let it idle with the Adr unhooked and no map signal. So I get to the shop hokk up to the computer and I got the same codes you had in my comp.

All has been good since I cleared the codes but I would like to know what caused it.

I think it is either a weak battery or weak alternator causing the issues. That many codes, must have low voltage going to the ecm.

have you done the latest update for the pulse?
File Name: Pulse ver 1.3.4
UPDATED: 11/13/2008
Models: PulseCM
Software Version: 80023111

Features:

Same as version 1.3.2 but, addresses the initialization issue the first time the Pulse and Adrenaline are powered on together.

ya might just be having a glitch with the pulse or maybe a bad download with a tune?

Ya I reloaded all the latest updates on the pulse and module! I thought it was maybe the trucks electronics until I unhooked everything associated with the adrenaline and everything was fine

I've noticed a lot of people are having battery issues. I replaced mine earlier this spring after less than 2 years of service, and now my optimas are getting weak. I have a friend who is experiancng the same thing, I wonder if ADR is drawing some juice while sitting?

My brother had to replace both batteries before winter. They were both 2 year old Gold batteries.

My batteries and alternator are all good. After hookin it up and unhookin it 3 times i finally opened up the plug on the harness that hooks into the module itself (where all the wires come together) and the ground wire was broke off half way not getting a good connection in the harness so i reattached it and its workin now.
