ADR turbo timer

I just installed my quad adrenaline and so far it is working great! I am not super keen on the 3 min shut down timer though. Is there a program that I can do away with the timer or have different paramenters set? Also how accurate do you think the boost pressure guage is? I can hit 30 pounds of boost and I don't have the new injectors in yet. I don't really think I need a boost elbow.
Thanks
Alan

If you have the Pulse module also, you can change the turbo timer setting. If you do not have the Pulse module, the only way to change it is download and flash a tune with it disabled from here.

Once the key is off, you can lightly touch the acellerator pedal to shut of the engine instantly regardless of the turbo timer.

hi guys

my brother in law have 2001 ram and the turbo timer if always on,with standard software.code adr 1000
i can kill with the break pedal.
on new software if this also?

on quadzilla site i read:

04/16/2008 - All Adrenaline files have been updated to solve Turbo Timer and High Idle issues with 1998.5-2000 year model trucks. The tuning has also been modified to remove surging. These tuning files make more power and torque than any other files but, they also have more smoke in most applications. On 2001-2002 trucks you will no longer be able to use the brake pedal to kill the Turbo Timer or the High Idle.

timer

I have a 1999, and I can shut down the engine by tapping the accelerator. Touching the brake pedal does not shut down.

On 2001-2002 trucks you will no longer be able to use the brake pedal to kill the Turbo Timer or the High Idle.
On some of the first tunes you could kill the TT with the brake pedal on the 01-02's, after Quad did some tweaking, you had to use the go pedal instead of the brake, just like the other years.
I have a 1999, and I can shut down the engine by tapping the accelerator. Touching the brake pedal does not shut down.
Try pressing it down furthter or holding it down longer instead of just a "tap" and see if that works.
Some trucks took a little more pedal input than others to kill the TT.

Zap : What happened to the tunes with the temp. parameters settings for the turbo timer ?? The only thing I could find was a 3 min idle timer. I could settle for 1min or like 325*. Anybody ?

I'm a little confused does this mean that the turbo timer will only work with the Pulse Monitor and not the control pod ?

No, the turbo timer still works with the control pod you just can't change the settings of the timer w/ the control pod like you can w/ the pulse.
