Crimedog, ya it seems like timbrens is a good way to go, I like the idea that ride won't be any stiffer without a load on the front.

I am adding firestone air bags to all four corners of my rig.Plus an on board compressor with fill and drain from the cab using air-ride seat valves from a big truck.The bags cost me $500 cdn and the compresor set up will end up costing about $100 in total.
