What effect do shocks have on front end alignment?

What I know about shocks is they only dampen the wheel travel during extension. A worn out shock would allows the wheel to bounce up & down (like a basketball). The only effect to wheel alignment would be excesive bouncing wearing out components.
Other than that no effect is the correct answer.

Thanks for the info. I will buy BILSTEIN yellow/blue shocks from Geno's and put them on.
