I just finished installing my 3 pillar guage kit and have a question?<br><br>I installed a auto trans temp guage and took it for a test run, I may be imaging things, but seems like I smell tranny fluid inside the cab after parking. After close look, no leaking. The only thing found was that the trans dipstick was slightly pulled out. Would this cause this.<br><br>I put the sensor in the passenger side front of the tranny just behind the dipstick, could this be hitting something. MrDiesel:<br><br>I am not sure I'm clear as to where you exactly have<br>placed your trans. temperature sensor. I have mine<br>placed in the line coming out of the transmission going<br>to the trans. cooler. Some of that &quot;odor&quot; you described<br>could be coming from the dipstick hole, if the dipstick<br>was pulled out far enough. <br><br>I would look for fluid leaks all around your connection(s)<br>and on the transmission itself. <br><br>-------<br>John_P
