I have been waiting a while for a box upgrade. I was going to go with the Edge EZ for the simplicity, but got a screaming deal on a new Comp box. I am getting ready to hook up and was curious about the version. On the label it says Version A0. Can anyone tell me more, is this newer, better or old and worse. I am looking forward to a little more power.

There are different Comp versions for the differnet years I would call edge at 801.476.3343

I sent them an email to Edge and they told me nothing except if I have problems with it notify them..... anyway I am not positive if this was the way to go, sure a lot of wires to hook up, I did not want to modify too much.....

I am thinking the new power will be nice, I just hope my tranny will hold up, and the lift pump.

Make sure it is a comp for 98.5-2000. You will know pretty quick if the map and data plugs are different. There are install instructions on the Edge website. As far as your tranny goes, it will; go that is. I am working on 99 auto that was all but shredded with a heavy foot and an EZ. You have to do these mods in stages, especially with the auto.

You will love it once it is hooked up. It does seem a little intimidating to do. Once you jump in and start doing it you will see it's not that bad.
