I know there is a difference beween the wiring harness on a 98 to a 01,
But is it possible to make a 98 juice work on a 01 ?

is only the map sensor different? if so wouldnt it work to swap the map sensor of the engine to the older style?

i think there is another conector different, but we have an adapter for that one. IIRC

 

There was one on ebay that was for an 01 but the guy had it on his 99, cause he had all his wires cut. I beleive he said he called Edge and they told him how to do it.....

 

Just went through this, and Edge will tell you a '98 box will not work on an '01. Different MAP voltages which means different programming. Some folks will tell you it will work, but since Edge told me no, I didn't do it. Working on a swap with someone on here now as he was in the exact opposite situation that I was.

 

we have swapped comp boxes before, from 98 to 01 and 01 to 98. That worked, (leaving the stock harness in each truck) just unpplugged the comp in the cab and plugged in the other one...

 

has anyone done this?
