98/99 Crossover and Stabilizer Question

I'm ordering the parts to switch my 1996 over to the 1998/9 crossover style steering and want to do a dual stabilizer while I'm at it. I'm 99% sure the 1998/9 dual inline stabilizer kit from Skyjacker will bolt in with the 1996 axle as long as I am using the 1998/9 steering linkages. Can someone confirm this before I order. This is what I'm looking at:

#7218 Stabilizer kit.

I tried to post a pic of it installed but I can't find one that will let me link to it so here is a link to an ebay auction with it installed:

Ebay ads not allowed on DTR

I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work unless something is way different about the front axle on my 1996 but it's 3" like the auction says it needs to be. Am I missing something here?

You shouldn't other than the 134 bucks the kit costs.

Should bolt right on.

Thanks Pat. If anyone else is looking to do stabilizers, 4WheelParts has that set up for $121 shipped right now. Summit wanted to hit me with a $12 handling fee on top of the $134. Gotta love Google Shopping.

It's been a few years so the price might have increased but that Skyjacker kit looks exactly like the Heckethorn duel kit I bought for $59.

Thanks Bill. I paid about $80 for my paralell set up for my last truck back in 99: I found a universal Heckthorn/Rough Country kit for $90 that looks like it'll work but after shipping and stuff it couldn't save more than $15 so I'm glad I went with the one I did. I have always had good experiences with Skyjacker's stuff. I had their lift kits on two Wranglers and their stabilizer on my first Dodge. I would have liked to go with the Bilstein set up to match my shocks but they turned from silver to crusty white after the first winter they were on there and IMHO for what they cost that is unacceptable.
