95 Cuts Out Around 2200??
My 95 auto cuts out around 2200, it sounds like a governer hits, then it jumps up like its supposed to 3000 or so. whats up with this i dont like it.
and the truck white smokes and lopes so i turned up the star wheel and the idle and still nothing, no black, higher idle but no black. does the boost screw on the back of the afc need to be messed with? if i slide my stock plate foward does the governer arm need an adjustment.

Give some guys some time, it might take a few days to get an answer
Up your timing, its slipped alot. Up it to 15-17 depending on mods. 15 prefered on a stock truck.
The governor springs and plate on as stock truck defuel at 2300 or so, thats the thing you mention, get a 3k spring kit, and good plate, that will allow you to fuel up to 3k.
Gauges, and #10 pushed to the rear would be a good addition to your auto.
Check your lift pump pressure, you might have a dirty fuel filter, or bad lift pump going out. Doubt it, but from your sig, its hard to determine what you've done to your 95, go ahead and fill it out if you can.
A bad overflow valve on the injector pump is notorious for causing lopes and other problems delivering fuel correctly. If you OFV has never been replaced, go ahead and do it, most every stock truck I've seen they go bad.
I recommend not messing with the stock plate without gauges, and yes and plate movement beyond what TST has on the mounting template, or plate other than recommended by there chart, the gov arm may need adjustment.
