Reman ECM,voltage fixed, still dead pedal around 2200 RPMs.

Noticed dead pedal the other day when voltage was dropping off to 0. Shop said I needed new ECM to fix voltage regulator problems.Got one today programmed to my VIN but still getting dead pedal around 2200 RPMs and P 1693 code. Any ideas? Am going to try to reset TPS tomorrow.

I had similar problem with my 02 just b4 I gave her up to buy whats in my sig. I replaced ecm with a new one and drove 8 miles only to have new ecm puke out. Could be a bad bunch of reman ecm's.

Mine took out a brand new VP when it puked the new ECM. Thank goodness the shop warranteed both ECM and VP.

Good Luck,

Gary
