95 auto fuel pump

Howdy All,

First off, I will most likly get a fuel pressure gauge once I start to add fuel. But Just in the planing stage right now. Have to upgrade tranny first. I am only looking to add 3GSK and a #10 plate. But I am wondering if I will run out of fuel with the 95 auto fuel pump and the #10 plate? How many fuel mods can a 95 auto fuel pump keep up with? I might start and get Bombitis. But to tell you the truth, I just want to keep up with my brothers stock 555. If Bombitis sets in, who knows.

I doubt if the stock 12 valve fuel system will run low on fuel till you break 500 mph or 1000 HP.
A #10 will be no problem, I have one in both my trucks.

You don't need to bother with a fuel pressure gauge on a 12v......it is only critical that lift pump pressures be monitored on 24v's......Infidel is correct (as usual ) LP/IP fueling problems won't likely be encountered on 12v's until the power is through the roof........I have heard of one case where a P7100 packed it in because of inadequate fuel supply but this motor was pumping out just over 700 hp.

Ok, stupid question then. Why would you want a 175, 215, ect. pump? Isn't the the 95 auto a 160? If that is good up to 500 HP or there abouts, I just don't see the need for those pumps. Thanks, you guys saved me some future money.

See my sig., I running the baby pump(160) and with the mods I have, did 395 last year, before I found the fuel system air leak. Going to get back on the dyno soon, as the truck runs so much better, hoping for a few more horses now. My 2 cents, Darl AbsherIII
