there are no chips for those trucks...all mechanically controlled so you have to modifiy the injector pump to get more power

The good news is for the price of a chip you can do all sorts of fun stuff with your 12v Doug. I can't tell you what but I do know that guages are usually the first step then let the tweaking begin

How much power are you trying to add? Stick or auto?

Check this thread out. I think 20 HP can be had for no $$ at all! I will make a suggestion.....injectors and a turbo housing mod goes along way on your style truck. High Tech Turbo sells a great housing upgrade kit for both the exhaust and compressor side of the H1C turbo. You can find a good injector upgrade to add some fuel to the added air and spool up.

Autometer has a good selection of gauges if you are wanting to find a tach and gauges to match. If you dont care about them matching....there are TONS of gauges to be had....just do some digging and check out some sites that sell them.

BUT MOST OF ALL........WELCOME TO DTR!!!!!

Install an HX35 off of a 2nd gen truck, big improvement in power and spool up.

20Hp is nothing.. With some tweaks to the pump only I had boosted my 93 to over 280HP rear wheel.

Do some reading at DodgeRam.org as well as surf the posts here in the 1st gen area. That should keep you busy.LOL..

Like others have said.. its not too hard to get more HP out of the VE injection pump you have on your truck... do a search in the 1st Gen forum... Most of the guys in there will help you.. less than 15min you can have the HP you are looking for...
Good Luck
Bryan

Edit:... Doug where U from??? Add your location to your USER CP information.. and truck info...

Love to see a 91 with only 45,000 miles! How about some pics in your gallery?

And, if within a couple of hrs of Waco and/or Dallas... come to our next club meet!

Here's a good place for guages: http://www.dieselmanor.com/

Pyro mounted in your exhaust manifold then boost and trans temp should be good

You can get quite a bit of power for cheap. Gauges first. If it were me; I would then turn the pump up with the screw on the side, and install the governor spring, and a 12cm turbo housing. it will be a new truck
