I have been looking everywhere for a 6gun for my 2001 and all i come up with is 6guns for the 03s and up. Wanted to know if anyone knows if they make it for my year or what the deal is would love to get one. Any info would help me out and if someone knows where i can get on could u let me know where or post a site thanks.

 

The 6 Gun is 03 and up 3rd gen only stuff for the common rail CTD.....it is not available 2nd gen 24v trucks. There are better performance options than what the 6 gun delivers, anyway - especially for a 2nd gen!

 

yeah ditto on the 6-gun, but you have a field full of options, Edge, Blue Chip, Van Aaken, just to name a couple, I had a Blue Chip FMS on my old 01' & loved it, the comp is good for the $, but if you include gauges & other options on the FMS there's really not a huge difference, & I felt like I had a little more adjustability, ( may have been very little ? ) , but I liked alot of the options on the blue chip, only bad point is timing, you'll almost definately have to run a timing box, such as a van aaken, stacked with the blue chip, but having driven both I like the two boxes stacked better than the one box that has both, just my opinion, seemed like my power range came on sooner & pulled longer with the stack vs. a single box with both fuel & timing, either way you'll surely be satisfied, Dusty
