i just relized i have a 53 block and was wondering how long it will last with the power adders i already have. and how much a replacement block runs. the clutch is stock now so the motor isn't getting loaded all that much. but the con FE is on its way right now. and i don't have a light foot.

 

I wouldnt even worry about it.

 

The block is repairable in the truck-no need to replace it, IF it ever goes.

You've got a VP on that engine, if I'm not mistaken. I don't see you posting questions about it failing, which WILL happen long before the block cracks ... IF it ever does!
