4" exhaust question

A couple of dumb questions....

How much will the 4" exhaust reduce egt's on my 4x4 with the Superchips D-box?

Is the 4" exhaust 4" from the manifold to the muffler?

What is the best price/brand I should expext to pay for one?

Here's some info from where I got mine.http://www.directinjection.net As for temp reductions, I added the exhaust at the same time I added the Edge EZ so I have no valuable data.

EGT #'s

Fishbait,

No way to really give you a totally correct or honest opinion, way too many variables etc. The rear gear, speeds, towing weights, fuel quality, truck condition etc all lead into what you asking for. In a generalized form you can expect between 125-200 degrees cooler EGT's with a system like ours, but it can and does vary between owners and trucks. We have aluminized, T-409 and T-304 stainless single systems and 409/304 stainless dual systems available to meet most any price range. Call us and we will be glad to help you with any questions you might have.
