Hey all, got my Warp Speed Performance 4" exhaust in yesterday, what an awesome kit, comes with a stainless steel tip, easy install, couple of hours and a done deal, the kit comes with an 8" round muffler, but it also comes with enough pipe to install without the muffler, which of course is what we all do anyways, one thing is, if you option for doing that you have to take it to a shop to have one end of the piece that goes over the rearend expanded out to fit the tail pipe, local shop did it for nothing. Heres the great thing bout this kit. $265 + 55 (i think, maybe 45) for shipping, one box for all the exhaust and the tip comes seperate, and what a difference in the running of the truck, i had already straight piped the stock 3", so the sound isnt much different, but the turbo lag is almost gone,,,and does it run!! Check on ebay, do a search for diesel exhaust, GREAT KIT

 

I got mine yesterday too.....hopefully get it on this weekend. Thanks for the tip on getting the pipe flared out I would have run into that halfway through !
How is the sound compared to the 3" straight? Deeper? louder?

 

Glad you're happy with it. Mine only came with enough to run it out the back with the muffler, but that's a moot point as I wanted the muffler.

I got the Warpspeed kit for my 12V as well....I must say I was a bit disappointed. 1) I had to clearance the downpipe a bit because it would NOT clear the tranny, 2) the tailpipe piece (the bent section) wouldnt fit either (I used the band clamps instead of the u-bolt type clamps), and 3) the exhaust was not straight under the truck.

Warpspeed got me once - they wont get me again. Next time, I will pay a bit more and get a better exhaust.
