4" downpipe and stacks are ON!

I finally got my 5" miter cut stacks and my 4" downpipe installed. They sound absolutely AWESOME! I have no drone at all in the cab, to tell you the truth as long as the go pedal is stable and I am just crusing I can't even tell any difference between them and my straight pipe set-up. I haven't driven it long enough or pulled anything yet to see if there was an EGT drop or not.

If you are on the fence about getting them, I highly recommend them!

They look GOOD and sound even better!

Pics are in my gallery.

Looks great!
How much bed length do you have left with the stacks and toolbox?

Did you leave the stacks straight, or did you add a muffler or resonator. I ordered a resonator for mine to get rid of the drone. Pics in my gallery.

I have quite a bit of bed room seeing as how it was a long bed to begin with, I will have to measure it to get a good number for you guys.

No resonator or muffler just straight, and like I said there is really no drone. I guess I got lucky, the drone monster didn't come in my stack kit.

Looks awesome! just wait for everyone to tell you to cut them shorter, but I say let'em be.

I like 'em. Nice work! I'd say they're about perfect. I wish mine were about an inch longer but oh well. I'm sure they'd get louder if you brought 'em down.

Those are way too tall, you need to cut them shorter like mine.
I made a custom filler piece for mine that fills the hole between the stacks and the tool box and looks good too. I think I have pics on my work computer. If you want to see how I did it, send me a PM and I will post a pic.

I was going to build a filler panel out of diamond plate and tig it to the back and bottom of my box as well. I would definately like to see pics of yours though for some ideas.

I didn't originally want them that tall but the more I thought about it, I like them just where they are.

Yeah, they told me mine were too tall too but guess what, it's my truck and they sound very good just like that and I like them like that and I paid for them too so guess what, tough.
Pics of the filler piece are in my album now too.

Yea at first I wanted them pretty even with the cab but then I got to thinking about it. I figured it would be REAL loud in the cab then, and prolly get my cab somewhat sooty.
