3rd Gen stock 17" dually wheels on my 2nd gen

Hi guys, my painful 6 month of waiting has been well worth it. I'll just got my 3rd gen wheels and my new Pro Comp X-A/T's on.

I bought those wheels used, through this forum, from user Z06-Lite.

I'm very grateful that he trusted me, was willing to sell those wheels to me and I was able to get a set of 3rd gen stock wheels.

At least, I would be very suspicious if some one tries to buy something from me from another side of the globe!

But I think he understand my reasons, and It seems to be a very rare combo even there, 3rd gen dually wheels in a 2nd gen I mean. But here... It's unique!

Why stock steel wheels? Because I'll bought 12.5" wide Pro Comp X-Treme All-Terrains. They are 37" tall. You can't get wider than 6.5" wheel to a dually, so I wanted a steel wheel, because I'm going to custom widening those by 2" to 8" wide.

But first I wanted to try and watch how they look on my 2nd gen and maybe I'll drive a while with those 6" wide wheels before I widening them.

And now. Tell me what do you guys think. Pretty sure it's one of the biggest, or the biggest dually in here.

There are bigger pictures in my gallery, comments are greatly appreciated.

PS: I know that my outer dual wheels rotation is wrong way, I changed sides before I attached the simulators.

Pps: those mudflaps with zip-ties are only temprorarily. I'll get some shiny chains soon.
Oh. And I'm going to install my complete PSC quick ratio steering system with a cylinder assist, dss and borgeson shaft. I'm going to install those at the same time when I'll add my 3" body lift

looks very nice. if you go with a 3" body lift, then you have to get 40's.

looks sweet ...

the sidewall bulge reminds me of a friend who ran 44" swampers on an old set of steel rims on his '91 cummins ...

everyone cried and whined that he'd never be able to run 'em that way ...

20k miles later he sold the truck with the same tires on it

Yeah, my friend has Tacoma and he has 11.5" tires and 10.5" rims and he said that his friend who sold the rims and tires said that 9.5" is the minium for 11.5" tires...

Guys who balanced my wheels allmost send me away because our law says 8" is minium for 12.5" tires. However, I told that I have to see which way I'm going to widening them(widening is illegal too) and they agreed to change my tires...

Anyway, thanks for your comments, I love the looks now, but I'm not going to change any bigger tires on it anymore. I'm just wondering how it's going to look with 5" susp lift and 3" body.

Anyway... what's the deal with the guys who owns a dually and whines that they can't find tall tires on them!?
