3rd Gen dually wheels on a 2nd Gen?

Hey Guys,

I thought I would try posting here as well as in the 2nd Gen forum....

I would like to know if 3rd Gen dually wheels will fit on my 98.5 dually.....are the offsets compatible? Will they clear the drums? I have an opportunity to get a complete set tires/wheels off of an 04 w/ simulators and excellent rubber for next to nothing. Any feedback would be great.

you may want to check your options for tires, and pricing. The 17 inch tires are not as available and are more expensive. for a year or so dodge was the only one that ran that tire size.

I believe they'll fit but you're stepping into a world of frustration with these size wheels. Try getting a taller, more aggressive, God forbid a Mud Terrain, in 17" to fit our wheels. I'm going to stay with the factory size I guess and get Coopers or Mastercrafts shortly.
