370's?????

Hi guys, I'm a first gen owner looking for some information. Always in the pursuit of cheap horsepower I was wondering what the pop pressure is on the "P" pump injectors. In other words, can a VE pump, which handles 260 bar without protest, handle the 370's?

I don't know the pressure, but its too high and puts too much stress on the VE. Plus the P-pump injector bodies have 14mm threads for the injector lines instead of 12mm like 1st gen lines. I'm pretty sure you can swap 370 tips into the 12mm inlet bodies.

I just made an injector puller that will fit both injectors. Making the adaptor to go between the 12mm lines and the 14mm fuel inlet would not be difficult. The real headache is aligning the fuel lines after puting on the adaptors. It would raise them up 3/4 of an inch or so. The one injector I have that I used to make the puller has a 14mm top. All other deminsions are the same as the Bosch 190's injectors. Pop pressure is set at 260 bar. The Bosch 190's I'm running are set at 250 bar. POD's, I've been told, are 260 bar. It sounds like the easier way to go would be changing tips. Ive never pulled an injector apart so this will be fun.
