370 Injectors and Timing
370 Injectors and Timing
Hi folks, I'm looking at bumping my timing up a little bit for pulling season. I've got 370's and I have laser cut DV's sitting in my room (of which I'm waiting on install yet because of all the heat they will create). Anyway, I know that timing is a must for big fuel, but with the improper spray angle of the 370s is there a point of diminishing returns? My thinking is that too much timing and the fuel will spray way outside of the bowl, with hardly any making it inside the bowl to properly atomize. Is this a concern at all? Right now I'm at 16.5* and am thinking of bumping it to about 17.5 or 18 when I add DV's and hopefully water injection. Any thoughts on this?

The right spray angle, and you can go with whatever you want
