350 HP and 750 Torque
I am installing my new South Bend clutch in a few days. South Bend recomended the 13" con O. It is rated at 350 HP and 750 Tq. My truck is making around 230 HP and 635 Tq. How fast is 350 HP and 700's TQ in these Dodges?? Anyone run a 1/4 mile with 350HP and 700's TQ?? Thanks.....

why are u going with just a clutch rated for 350hp? if ur there spring the extra 100$ or whatever and get a 500hp clutch right off the bat...350hp is still slow...that will prolly get u low 15's id say

i started out wanting that
its really easy to get with a 215 pump truck, actually im over it now by far at my best 376-902, with a manual trans though, the truck is still a dog, i havent quarter miled it yet, but im estimating with all my weight and stuff (toolbox etc) it will disappoint me, if anything ill be happy once i break 13's with it, (IE when im done BOMBing... )
I wouldnt say 350 horses is low HP, especially for a diesel truck, its just that these cummins have so much more potential than 350 horses or so. and yes they do scoot surprisingly well at that power level, makes them fun to drive..... moreso with more power....

The Con OFE is smooth enough that it's hard to justify the Con O, imo.
As for bombing, I did it because it makes the truck more fun to drive. It's hard to chase good 1320 performance with a 6-speed. If you're bombing a manual trans truck for 1/4 miles usage, you're starting out the hard way for sure.

truck
I must of explained my self incorrectly. I am not trying to make my truck run a 13 second quarter mile. I was just curious what type of time a 300-350 HP and 700-750 TQ truck runs in the 1/4 mile. That will give me an idea of where my truck would be if I took it to those numbers. My truck is more than enough the way it is now. I just use it for work. Just curious guys.....
