The new update/SW for the VP trucks fuels hard up high like the HPCR Smarty software does - on both twin turbo trucks.

Beyond that, I think I'm supposed to for now!

I've made a few runs on it last night... need to do some more testing to be sure (65psi of boost at 3550 RPM was enough to blow an intercooler boot ).

with just the smarty on 9 power seemed more linear, it didn't have all its power down low as normal but continued it up through 2700-2900 rpms...

with the tst comp on 5 the truck was just pulling crazy hard!! I pulled the motor all the way up to 3500-3600 rpms and it was still pulling!! best thing this truck has seen in a while... will post more tomorrow or as bob permits... very happy so far!

Brian that was impressive how the new SW fueled through 3500 - sure gives you more options for getting down the quarter in a hurry!

I just wish my clutch had held the power at the track - I was hoping to make ya work a little harder for taking 2nd after Rowland.

bnold, a intercooler hose blow-off issue. I run with two clamps on both side of the intercooler. For some reason they can't stay on. I also run two clamps on each side of from the turbo to intercooler tube. Anybody replacing valve springs to run the higher rpm's? 3500 hundred is ok, but 4k you'll need better springs than stock or else they'll float. I hardly every run my engine above 3k.

I need to drop the dan $250 on a set of good boots and clamps Just cant make myself do it.. Held all night at the track, but after the new smarty testing did it in..

I have F1 springs in the truck, wouldn't recommend to anyone going up above 3200 without them... Piston to valve contact has happened at even 3200....

Those are easy fixes. The blown head gaskets and air leaks will drive you crazy. Trust me. I need all the boost I can get so I can get a hard run in.

Ok, so I ran the new SW today it it seemed to be an improvement. with the Beta Smarty on #9 it would free rev to 3900rpm and with the TST on #9 it would free rev to 4100rpm. on the road with just Smarty it would pull jard to 35-3600 and then fall off untill 3800 where it just sat. It did seem to have a little more top end power though. With the TST on #9 it pulled hard to 3600 and then slowly pulled to 4000rpm. it did make it to 120+MPH fast. I do like the changes Bob, but now it needs to pull HARD to 4ooorpm.
