I don't have a picture, but that will be what I put on next time around. I've had 245's, 265's, & currently 285's on my truck. I like the height of the 285's, but don't like the width at all. A friend of mine had 235/85's on his 99 2500. They didn't look too bad, but I thought a little narrow.

This is the only other pic I have with those tires on it....I really liked the look of the tall skinny tires, like I said, I am going with the 255/85's this fall...

I'm running these tires from Stampede, and have had good results with them. They look good on my dually and believe they will look good on your single.

The only disadvantage is that your speedo will be off about 3 mph less than actual. Advantage is it looks 100% better than stock and the Stampede I'm using has a nice agressive tread, that works good on the road also.

Skinnier tires will create less drag, therefore being more efficient. Wide tires suck up mpg in a hurry.

Oh I don't know, I'm getting 18 mpg and I don't think that is bad for a dually.

I'm in a 3rd gen, but am going from 285/70/17 to 255/80/17 at my next tire swap (less than 5K miles)... They are about .5" taller and 1" narrower.
