I used a haisley cam so i could use the 12v lift pump

I also used .093 oversized inj. lines from haisleys

It would not be a good idea to bend your own because they can crack and kink
Plus they just wouldnt look good

Technically, the 215 pump is NOT just like the 160 pumps and 175 pumps and 180 pumps.

The factory tune in terms of barrels, plungers, delivery valves, etc is quite different.

The 215 pump is coveted because it can deliver the most fuel without serious reworking.

so, now i-m back, my computer works again, and i talked to the owner of the 24 p-pumped dodge cummins,
I started making pictures, when he told me to stop, and said: thats our invention. he barely answered me some easy questions.
but.....
here is the official redneck install (HOHN`S INMORTAL WORDS HAHAHA

*Yes he bent the original 24 valve fuel lines, to fit to the top of the P-pump
he didnt use any special tools for this...i guess vise grips They dont crack or bend very easy if you are carefull. if not they will.
*i didnt ask him about this but it looked like he put a spacer between the air horn, and intake manifold.
*he installed the 24valve throttle assembly (TPS in it) to the side of the p-pump.
*The cruise should work, cuz of sensor, he installed on the front gear plate. *he machined a hole into it, and melted the sensor holder out of aluminum.
*he left the engine computer on there, ¿hangin i think?
*yeah The pump needs an oil supply.
*he bought the front plate where the gears are on, from an industrial engine, that had a 1st gen. inj pump, so he moddified that one, made a bigger hole in it, so the inj pump would fit on, and the 4 bolts that hold it on.
*He also replaced only the timing gear. (p-pump timing gear)

he is awfully proud of his rattlin 24 valve with a smokin p-pump on it.

that truck was first a 1/2 ton dodge 98 2wd short box quad cab GASOLINE. --(reason- mexico didnt sell dodge diesels back then.)
then he replaced the gas with a 2001 year 24 valve cummins engine, he replaced two vp44-s. now he put on his LAST pump i think: p-pump.

those are conversion people.

maybe... you know, we bought some cheap p7100 injection pumps, that didnt come off a dodge cummins, we installed them on a dodge, and the pump had no oil inlet. so we cut closed the oil supply. but i guess that pump is built dif, we just filled it up with oil, and done.the truck tows diesel all over this region, to diferent farmers. just a thought.

 

 

are different injectors needed?? or can we use the 24 valve injectors?

I STILL WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND NOT BENDING YOUR OWN LINES...THE LINES YOU CAN ORDER FROM HAISLEYS COME WITH A ACTUAL SPACER, NOT JUST ANOTHER INTAKE HEATER STACKED ON TOP OF ON ANOTHER AND COMES WITH LONGER BOLTS FOR THE INTAKE HORN ALSO YOU CAN ORDER LARGER SIZE LINES IF YOU WANT, AND YOU WOULD NOT BE RUINING A PERFECTLY GOOD SET EITHER.

those lines look scary, but still a pretty good job it takes alot of ball to start tearing apart your baby. this is what a good set of lines look like

Dam nice pics 12valve, inj. lines look darn good,eventually i will swap pumps on my 2001.5 and i will bend the lines also,I see no problem with that,after all those lines started out straight originaly and had to be bent to whatever application they would be put on, so bending them some more aint goin to hurt. Thanks for posting the pics.

 

Good looking lines from haislymachine but who do you suppose bent them,they werent manufactured bent like that,someone someplace put those lines in a jig and bent them to fit.

 

ture they were bent on a jig, but i gaurntee you the weren't bent once then bent again
