2001 ram 2500 What GPH Fass system
im looking at buy a fass system. im thinking like the 95 gph one. my truck so far just has K@n Air filter system and a small superchip handheld programmer. after I upgrade my pump. I want to do like 07-100 hp injectors. and then a better programmer. What does everyone think about the gph for the pump?

The 95 is great for stock power levels but if you are going to go with bigger injectors and then a bigger tuner then do yourself a favor and get the larger pump.
Much better to have extra flow rather than not enough

The 95 will suffice but you may want to fill out your signature all about your truck. As much as I dont want to squash your ideas, there's things you should know and understand before jumping in with both feet otherwise you'll be spending money fast. All that said can become a problem if this is your daily driver too.

thanks
Thanks for the replies. Yes this truck is basically my daily driver except when it nice out I will use my bike.. is there something I missing with using the fass system and not upgrading other stuff? I thought everyone said this is the first thing that should be upgraded?..
Also how do I fill out the signature part?

I'm not discrediting your knowledge or understanding or what you want to do to your truck as thats not my business. All I can suggest is, yes, add the FASS and some gauges and then when you want to add more horsepower goodies, just share with the forum(s) what you have in mind and what you think you'll need to look out for. You should get a better understanding at that point and be able to better make a decision which wont result in throwing money away.

Since the automatic tranny in these trucks is the weakest link for power upgrades.....besides the fuel system......, I understand the only methods of helping the tranny deal with added hp and extra heavy towing is to make sure the bands are properly adjusted on a regular basis, a new valve body, and a new torque converter. Other than that, a tranny temp is essential in assuring fluid temps are always in check.
