I am looking at buyn a 2001power puck from someone but my truck is a 99: would this work and if so is it woth the money how does it perform and what gains will I see

 

I am not for certain but I think all you need to run the box on your truck is a map sensor adapter, different years have different styles. And as far as power, eh not much but maybe a little more kick in the pants, but when you go wot your exhaust gets way louder, it does a little bit of boost fooling so your engine will not defuel when you get above 20 psi. As far as smoke, you have to basicly floor it at a dead stop to get a decent cloud, but that isnt so good for the TC.
