Re:2" coil spring lift
The steel ones are ok, but ya gotta make sure to put the rubber spacer/seal back on from the stock coils. And they arent too hard to install. You dont need a spring compressor or anything, so its really a breeze if you are somewhat mechanically inclined.
Re:2" coil spring lift
I got the poly and I don't think theres that big of a difference. It rides better but I had new shocks put on also so can't really tell ya. I do know it makes a big difference in how you feel when driveing it.

Re:2" coil spring lift
I added the steel ones. No problem with install other than I had to coax the springs back in with a pry bar. Get to an alignment shop right away. My tow-in was way off after ithe install.

I went with the steel, and dont know to much about the poly ones. As far as toe in is concerned. I knew my alignment was a little off but it wasn't until i was going 110 miles an hour and the whole truck started shaking front to back until i slowed down to about 40 miles an hour while trying to hang on to the darn thing that i realized it was a problem. Allignment shop said i had really bad toe-in and was what probably caused the problem.

My tow in was off too but just a hair. the guy said it would have not hurt anything to leave it that way. Heck it actually drove better

Just to add my $.02 when I added my Skyjacker D25 2.5" coil's it caused my Toe in to increase dramatically, and I wasn't aware until the track bar started showing signs of extreme wear (DEATH WOBBLE ALL THE TIME!). So with any spacer or coil addition I would highly advise a alignment.

My $.02 makes $.04.
Take it somewhere that knows how to align Trucks, not your neighborhood Les Schwab or the like.
I had my 2" kit installed at Mr. Schwabs and they aligned as well.
Majorly messed up, they couldn't even figure out how to center the steering wheel.
(why the steering wheel got uncentered is beyond me)
First hint of problems should have been my tires hanging of the rack 3 inches on each side
After the install of my Skyjacker 4.5", Jack-It techs took it to a Truck Alignment Shop (I'm thinking Semi's, Boxtrucks, etc) and now my truck drives straight, steering wheel centered, no unusual wear whatsoever on the front tires.

I am also considering adding the 2" leveling kit to mine. Does anyone have pics after install? Just wondering how level it comes out.
Thanks.

Here's mine with Skyjacker D25 2.5" coils. That's like the day off install.....now a couple months down the road it has settled back down some, but not exactly level yet.

Re:2" coil spring lift
ok, another thought.
If I put the 2" spacers in, would I be correct in assuming that shocks 2" longer in length would be needed?
if not a necessity, would they help?

Re:2" coil spring lift
I dont think that guy is 100% sure what hes selling. That looks exactly like my BDS 2" spacers. Its alluminun not steel. I doubt that its powder coated either. It will be a year this xmass that they have been on. So far no complaints except its not a big enough lift ;D I can post some pictures in my members section if you want. I have a 2inch lift all around. I used a pair of skyjacker leafs in the back for the lift. Witch I just might happen to have an extra set for sale
I think the front spacers cost me about 175$ new. Any questions PM me
