I ran a 14.0 in my truck on 40" tires and 4.10 gears with a 5lb boost launch. My truck has plenty of power but I am ready for a bigger pump now. I just need a sponsor

Dont underestimate these little 160 pumps They will put out some fuel too. Not as much as a 215, but plenty still.

so would it be unwise to install bigger plungers and a 215 cam by yourself without the proper calibrating tools? oh and what plungers do you use?

You cant install bigger plungers very easily. You have to bore each cylinder of the pump out 1mm, and then it all has to be installed right. Not exactly a do it yourself thin. A 160 or 175 pump will make good power if you spend some time tinkering and setting them up right.

I agree, you can get fuel out of a 160 or 175 pump, it's all about how much $$ you want to spend. I would say that the hp limits of these pumps depends on your budget.

Garmon and Ponci have made over 600 on 160 pumps that haven't been benched. They will put out enough fuel if you tune them right.

160 pumps seem to be under estimated. I plan on running one with my upcomming P-pump swap. I plan to stay around 575-600hp.

This truck belongs to a buddy of mine. It has a 160 pump & he has won about every sled pull he has entered this year. He doesn't have the most hp in the world, but he is putting the power to the ground.

It looks like that pump puts out a lot of fuel. What has been done to it, has it been off of the truck.

He has done all of the mods himself. I'm thinking of P-pumping my rig, my buddy has this 160 pump for sale.
