160 pump question

Can the 160 p pump be made to flow any better?Or am I better off changing it to a bigger pump?

Although the 160 pumps are the "baby" pumps, theyre still capable of making decent power. Depends on how big you want to go. From what ive heard, bigger delivery valves and some advanced timing really help them out.

I am making 510hp and 1275 ft-lbs with a 160 pump(pre twins). A fuel plate and dv will allow it to flow more fuel. A big set of injectors are nice to have too.

It depends. What are you wanting out of it exactly? How many HP? Laser cut delivery valves will flow a LOT of fuel in any pump. Tell us what you are after, and then maybe we can help better.

I got mine to flow plenty without having to send it in. Of course if you want to go crazy you can always send it to schieds and have them get it to flow
