12v swap into 01 5spd
Hey guys ,thinking of swapping in a 12v into my 01 3500 4x4.As far as wiring goes it would be pretty easy I take it.I dont really care about cruise,I just want the tach to work properly.I know the 24 uses a cam sensor and the 12 uses a speed sensor by the balancer,is it easy to make it work?Anyone done this?I was thinking of just p pumping the 24,but I like the 12v better and I know where I can get one for cheap.Plus selling a working 24v would get some cash back.Any ideas?Anyone see any problems with doing this?I know my ultimate goals for the truck will ecceed the limitations of a vp44's fuel delivery potential.

I think the wiring harness to the dash and the cluster will need some work or changes as the PCM will be looking for alot of data that you wont be sending it? I looked into the swap prior to finding this truck and it really didnt seem worth it with the resourses I had. IMO you will probly better off just doing a pump swap but??
