I plumbed the FASS in right here. With it turned off I see around 10psi at idle, about 35psi out on the road. It drops down to about 15psi at wot with the mach 4's. Below 10 with larger injectors. With the FASS on it sits at 45 all the time. Hopefully it will maintain 40psi with the larger injectors.

Off topic, Ron, who's lines did you use for your conversion. My Schied ones don't look like those.

When I bought my AirDog100. They said they had dyno sheets of the 100gph pump at 600hp on a 12 valve.
I have read that the AirDog150 was good for 1000hp.

Call them, they are great people to work with.

The FASS it makes sense.....it offers superior filtration and air removal. And you get a little pressure stacking as well.

The HPFP you are only getting the pressure stacking. It has its advantage in that you are keeping positive pressure to the back of the mechanical lift pump. This keeps the fuel from cavitateing and makes sure the mechanical pump is never in need.

aksparkey01,

As for the cost to upgrade to the 90GPH@45 PSI or 180GPH@45PSI HPFP…..contact a dealer and we can work that out.

Before you condemn our kit, I would test and figure out the area of issue before you start blaming items. I have many happy customers with your setup. I might suggest locating a local dealer that is familiar with our system to offer assistance.

My first suggestion is to check fuel pressure and fix your leaks. That right there should help you figure out what might be causing issue.

by no means am i trashing on the fass pump. its doing exactly what its supposed to be doing. I just want to get rid of the stock filter housing and lp setup. just dont want to spend a nother $700 to do it. i was hoping to use the 150 pump and a aftermarket filter housing but it doesnt sound like the pump puts out the pressure for the p-pump.

You can upgrade into the pumps aforementioned for WAY less than $700.00. I will need you to contact your FASS, and have them call me for more info in this….
