100K valve adj maint and F1 injectors

I'm about to pull my truck in for the 100K valve adjust maintenance, and have decided to change out the stock fuel injectors - looking at F1 injectors. I'll be towing a 5er soon, and am wondering what injector set from F1 would be the best bang for the buck - thanks, DD

Mach 1.6 if your pullin a heavy trailer and want good MPGs you will love the 1.6s and for the most part there safe enough that your not freakin out at the EGTs you will need a tuner to get the most out of them If you have an AUTO it will grone unless built to take the power manual will be fine

I think the Mach 1.6's are probably the best all around injector that F1 makes. Have a set in the '02 and couldn't be happier with them. Awesome injector for stockish trucks.

If your going to go F1 Mach 1.6, you might as well drop in a set of 1.75's.

I went this route with a Smarty and love it. EGT's are more than driveable even when towing ( I tow upwards of 12,000 lbs).

Don't be surprised if you find that your 100K valve adjustment isn't needed. My truck as well as a fair number of friends trucks still haven't needed the valves adjusted, they are still within spec.

Depends on where you live.
If you live at lower elevations, 1.6 is best. If you live at high elevations, 1.6 or 1 will work best. I went with 1.6 and it is easy to get to 1,200F EGT towing uphill. If I would have to do it again it would be a toss-up.
Just my personal opinion.

A six speed truck, you could go with 2.0's, running a HX-35. The 1.6 sticks are good for auto/ and fiver's. The HO pump just doesn't have the high rpm fuel kick like a So pump does.

My good friend has had a set of 1.6's for 150,000 miles and alot of towing with them in his 01 6spd. They are a great injector for daily driving and towing. They can creap up to 1200* with a Smarty or Edge EZ together but are very managable. Usually would have to pull big hills in 5th gear to keep under 1200* with the chip on too. And they get excellent milage too.
