my buddy hada 24v with a comp box,155 xxx b-d injectors and a high persure push pump, removed his grid heaters and pluged wastegate, stronger boost boots, stock turbo, and a k/n filter that looked like a bhaf, and a centerforce clutch,he showed me his dyno sheet from b-d.he had 442hp and 1092lbs torque.i never got to drive it but ive been in it and it smoked,he mite have also had somthing to stop the 3000rpm defueling{maybe the comp does it??}cuz he could rev her to 3800 no problem, crazy truck till it got stolen.if he got twins and oringed head he says he could have goten to 550hp and 1300lbs,maybe the thief has done it.

Dually, The GV is a pretty nice unit, I don't tow much, and when I do it's light so I can't fully appreciate all those gears But I do enjoy using the overdrive on the freeway.

A PM3 Comp, Mach 5's, and twins did it for me, with 1400 degree EGTs.
You could probably do it without twins but I have to tow over 10K.

Right now my buddy's 01 is running a TST PowerMax3/remote,F1 Mach 2.5s,PDR HX35/14,ATS transmission.. he dyno'd 475/1022. He doesnt drag race the truck, sled pull but does tow a cargo trailer once in a while with no heat issues with the box on level 3. Things can get warm with the box on level 9 but he dont run it there...

I made 470hp and 998 foot pounds with an HTB2, Mach 3s from Don, and an Edge Drag Comp. I also have a full DTT tranny. And I can still tow and pull down 19-22 mpg depending on how behaved my foot is. My first pull may have been 1000 or a shade higher but the sensor fell off and all I got was a hp reading. Next pull was a 998 and the last was a 997. Heat soak was setting in.

Thanks, guys it doesn't seem all that hard to achieve then. Looks like all I should need will be a Drag Comp, hybrid turbo. With my other mods does this seem like it should work? Is the Drag Comps de-fuel feature needed? or will a Comp work?

Dually, I bought the truck with the GV already installed from previous owner, dealership I bought from didn't even realize what it was...... around 1400-1500 at 70mph

You may need some fuel upgrades at that level. My Max Flow Fuel System pulled down to under 5 psi at about 460 HP. FASS I - holds above 13 psi...even with a 5 micron filter on it.

Your EGT's will be out of sight with the Drag Comp, DD3's & HX40/35 Hybrid!
