1 piece hood/fenders clip - anyone seen one?

Lately I've been thinking more and more about that - I wanted to do it when I bought the truck years ago, but...I know there are Carbon Fiber hoods out there, but has anyone ever seen a 1 piece hood/fender unit? Fiberglass I think would be the most likely, and probably cost as much as the truck is worth, but...

If it's out there it means it can be done...

Never heard or seen anything like that... not sure why you'd want to do that if the truck isn't a dedicated race/pull'n truck.

Be awesome if they figured out how to get it to flip forward like a semi... Would make working on them so much easier!

Exactly- it would give tons more access to the engine compartment if the fenders were removed.
I would personally want it to tip up like the stock hood does (have to go higher obviously) because a front tip would be interfered with by a grill/brush guard or plow. I can't imagine the struggle to get the plow off the truck to open the hood if the truck would not start.

I sort of doubt any one makes a bolt on kit. I have seen a picture of a 2nd gen with the front folded forward, I think it was a track truck. Would certainly take a whole bunch of fab work to get that lined up, not to mention some pretty fancy hinges up front. But wouldn't that be nice....

The cost and work it'd take would not be worth the small benefit you'd gain from it IMO. I have a prosthetic leg and can still get around my truck easy enough.
