1 or 2 pumps

ok i have a 2000 qc dodge 4x4 24v i was wonderin if their is any pumps out their i can replace my oem fuel pump with a new high volume pressure pump with out runnin a 2 pump system like an auxiliary pump it to expensive to buy two pumps just to make sure the oem is still good. and if i run a holley blue instead of my bd pump do i need to regulate it, and where can i hook the wire up too

I have two holley blues under my truck and i dont see any less than 18 psi... even WOT.. and no regulators and that was about 260$ ish

anyone tried going more than 20+ PSI or higher inlet pressure on these VP44's? any cons of trying this?

I run a FASS pump thru the stock filter housing with AN fittings.I can't pull it down under 15 psi guage after the filter at WOT. If you run up to 20psi you might get a hard start problem.
