05 tires & wheels on the 98

Hey guys,
Well both trucks are shod with winter tires and the wife and I got ta talkin. In the spring the wife wants to add a 5" or 6" lift and 35" or 36" tires. Now my Baja claw are about used up and her Wrangler MTR's are like new so can I put her 17" wheels and tires on my 98 and I just get her new wheels and tires?
Topper

P.S.
My 305-16" Baja Claws have about 10,000 miles left on them. If ya live close enough to come pick them up I'll happily give them to ya. If your interested drop me a pm and I'll send some pics.

First off....you better hang on to her! Dang! I was in the wrong line! haha....

Anyway.....Wheels are a no go.....I think Dodge went to Metric bolt pattern and they wont fit.......BUT you can score some 17" wheels for your truck pretty cheap.....so.......

Dodge is not using a metric bolt pattern, still 8x6.5". The 05 wheels will fit your 98 just fine.

I know that the 03 chrome rims fit and the 04 aluminums fit so I dont see any reason why the 05's wouldnt fit.

i had 05 17" aluminium wheels on my 98 no problems issues arise with the 16" wheels because of backspacing though'
