0238 again...

i got this code about 2 months ago and at the time my truck was doggy on the bottom end. i replaced the map sensor and it felt good again. well forward to now, my truck has been really doggy again on the bottom end and that darn code is appearing again. could it be possible that i am going to go through 2 map sensors in 2 months? the doggyness is really really irritating. i mean i have to really push on the pedal to get going. anyone have any experience with something similiar to this?

Yes, it is possible. Do you have an e-brake by chance? If so, try cleaning the MAP sensor with some brake cleaner first.

Also, this code can pop up with faulty aftermarket fueling boxes, high boost with no boost fooler and even bad VP44s.

Make sure to check your connections at the MAP sensor for corrosion. If there is a tiny bit of "green death", that is enough to throw a code.
